So we have conquered setbacks, and starting over the past two weeks. Both topics can be hard for many people BUT I want to cover NOT GIVING UP this week!!
This might seem like a “sad series” of posts this past couple of weeks but notoriously many will become discouraged, stop when they reach major setbacks, give up on things when a year starts to come to an end and I do NOT want that to happen to you. I want you to know that you CAN push through whatever is going on.
Holidays are just around the corner, the in-laws are coming, the meals are HUGE, presents need wrapped, kids are out of school, your business might seem like it wont ever get attention so many might thing to just give up until there is a more convenient time to do it.

- Tell yourself “I WONT QUIT!” – Your mindset is more than half the battle when it comes to achieving anything in life. If you tell yourself you can, I promise you will.
- Learn from others– There are tons of books, audios, youtube videos, etc of others who have struggled and overcome. Whatever situation you are in or you’re going through I promise someone else has gone through it and survived. Learn form others!
- Check back in with your WHY – The reason you started your journey, your why, should continue to be your driving force. When you hit that wall, when you’re ready to give up, when you’re ready to just throw in the towel go back to your why. Check back in with the reason behind your journey. For me it’s my kiddo. I want my son to know that with hard work he can do whatever he wants in life. I want to be able to provide for him in a way that means we don’t have to struggle like I watched my parents do growing up. I want to be able to drop everything at a moments notice and go to Disney because my kiddo says “mommy can we go”. My kiddo is my why. When life is tough check back in with why you started.
- Use your failure as a stepping stone for progress – No matter what brick wall you’ve come up against, no matter what hurdle you didn’t quite clear, no matter what road block you’re against know that it is just helping you reach something fabulous for your future. All your big achievements in life have come out of something not so pleasant. If you look back on your personal or professional life I will 100% guarantee every struggle you had ended up with a happy ending after all was said and done. Failure is part of life but you never want to let it consume you. Use it as a tool to keep moving forward.
Until Next Time Mommas,
xoxo
Lauren
