A motto your should live by in your business, especially for those of you who are just starting out in your business. YES its great to continually be perfecting your products, your content, your photos, etc. But if you wait until everything is perfect you’re either NEVER going to get yourself out there or it may take you VERY long time.
Let’s use me as an example, I am HUGE on perfectionism. It’s sometimes the worst quality I have and it’s even worse when it comes to business. When I first built AtHomeEntrepreneur.com I was still running my health & wellness business. I was doing well with it but I had dreams of more and something of my own. I launched my website, started getting my name out there, had a few freebies, but I just couldn’t launch my course “4 Week “Build Your Online Business” Course For The Busy Mom” that I had worked on for three months. I had made sure my sales page was “on point” as the “kids” say lol, my videos had bee recorded, re-recorded, and re-re-recorded, I redid my worksheets at least a dozen times, it was crazy! My course was great, the content was worth WAY more than I ever planned on charging but I just couldn’t see it as good enough and just kept putting off the launch date.
It wasn’t until I was chatting with my biz bestie that she said “you’re being dumb, just launch it, its great now!”. I had given it my all and I was just doubting myself, there was no reason I couldn’t launch it as it was.
So I DID, I launched “4 Week “Build Your Online Business” Course For The Busy Mom” and it was a success! I sold out more spots than I had planned and all because I launched it as before I ever thought it was perfect. Had I listened to my gut and kept making tweaks here and there I might never have launched it. I was terrified it wasn’t good enough but once it started selling I got AMAZING reviews and it launched my 1:1 coaching program off with a major kick.
Sometimes you just have to step out of your comfort zone and go for it! Since I launched “4 Week “Build Your Online Business” Course For The Busy Mom” i’ve made a dozen tweaks and updates to it but it keeps selling because I put it out there in the first place.
I want you to step out of your comfort zone and get your work DONE rather than making it “PERFECT” you can always make changes as you go but you need to get your genius out there for your clients to be able to see and invest in!
