Did you know that what you say and how you say are what makes people want to work with you, buy from you, listen to you longer than the two second scroll?
If you aren’t sharing what your audience wants to hear they are likely to keep scrolling past your post/video/infographic because it’s not something they need.
I want to cover 5 quick tips for sharing content that ENGAGES your audience.
- Create something they will want to share– create videos, graphics, posts, blogs, etc, that will stand out in your news feed. If you create something show stopping your audience will resonate with it and will be inclined to share it with their audience.
- Include a Call To Action (CTA)– ASK your audience to engage. It’s not rocket science, if you want them to respond ask them to do just that. Invite them to share your post. If you like this post don’t forget to give my page a like/follow/subscribe/etc.. Ask your audience to make a choice.. this or that… Just ASK them, talk to them, engage with them!
- Go LIVE on Facebook OFTEN– Try out doing at least one live video a week, plan your topic in advance, jot down talking points for your life, then click GO LIVE! Your audience will get to know you, your personality, and your teaching style much quicker through a live video. They will develop and interest in you and working with you. You can also use the live as an opportunity to invite them to something you offer. Always remember to invite them to follow/like your page to get a heads up the next time you’re live.
- Test out different posting times for your content– if you don’t feel as though you are getting enough engagement on a particular time/post try posting at a different time. Just because sally is getting 100+ comments on her post at 9am doesn’t mean that your audience is watching what you share at 9am, maybe your audience likes to sleep until 9:30 and they are on social media at 10. Play with your time frames to see what works best for your business.
- Repurpose your content– Thats exactly what it means, repurpose! Take what you have already shared, what had great success, what your audience just loved and reformat it to other platforms. If you wrote a blog use parts of it as an email. If you share a really awesome FB live turn it into a youtube video. You don’t have to keep making knock out content if you tweak what you already have and re-share it!
These were just 5 quick tips for getting your content out there and in your audiences eyes but if you’re ready to take it to the next level, if you’re ready to get clients BEATING down your doors to work with you, if you’re dying to know the secrets that are content creation then check out

Going live can be HUGE for your business 😉 Take that next step ands schedule it for yourself!
Thanks for the great tips. I haven’t done any FB live posts. I’m also considering creating a Youtube channel. I’m a little undecided. What do you think?
Amazing writing
Thanks for the tips. I hadn’t thought about what time of day that I post making a difference. I’ll have to experiment with that!
Working on increasing my Facebook Live presence and trying to find older material that I can repurpose. Great tips!

Thanks for the helpful tips! I really need to pay more attention to the time of the post and the engagement I get. Thanks for sharing!
I just started posting at different times to social media to test out what works better. Thanks for sharing!
These are great tips that everyone can use! Thanks 👌🏼
Loved the last part especially, on repurposing content. I need to do that more often, as constantly producing different content for social media, e-mail & blog is a bit hard to sustain. Plus it would free up more time for promoting, promoting, promoting 🙂
Great tips!! Going live terrifies me but I know I’ve got to get over that!
Love the idea of repurposing content – it doesn’t just lose it’s value once you’ve posted it in one place! Love it!
These were really good tips! I’ll be sure to try some of them.
I haven’t done anything with video yet to promote content on my blog. Someone told me recently that YouTube is the number 2 search engine in America, second only to Google (which owns YouTube). I might use your advice and try it out as a summary of what my posts are about.
Thanks for the advice!
This is great advice. I am a fairly new blogger and looking for more ways to better my content and reach my audience.
As a new blogger this is great advice. Thanks for sharing!
I will definitely incorporate some of these tips. Thanks!
Great info! So simple, yet things that go forgotten so easily.
This is really solid advice, I particularly like the repurposing of content for other uses.
I hadn’t thought of that before but it makes sense, why make life harder for ourselves trying to create new content all the time.
I’m still reluctant about going live on any of my social media accounts. Not sure why but it scares me..I know I have to start doing it sooner or later..
Annabel, going live is liberating! I have a group where I encourage practicing going live, if you ever want to jump in and practice with us we’d love to have you! –> https://www.facebook.com/groups/MommiesOnAMissionNOW/
All of these are all great tips! Sharing content that others want to see is super important!
These are some great tips here! Definitely implementing some of these. Thanks for posting this.
This is a great article with very helpful tips! Thanks so much!!
Content is the main thing for any bloggers to be successful in blogging.
So, we should take care of creating amazing contents for our readers.
These are great reminders! Printing this and putting it on my to do board!
Great ideas! I need to follow through on them…:)
Solid tips. I hate going live but know I should. Thanks!
Thank you for these ideas! I definitely want to incorporate video, but am so nervous! I will try, though 🙂
Great tips for new bloggers!
Love this! It is all so true – although I admit I don’t use IG live or FB live at all. I should probably step that up.
